do i really need to learn lua to dev a game

You need to know how to problem solve to use ai even somewhat effectively, and it also sucks because ai memory is horrible and your gonna repeat yourself a lot

So yes it’s technically possible it’s not a good idea

Lua is closer to half a programming language

It’s literally the smallest language so it’s probably one of the easiest if not the easiest language to learn

Ai is also not getting good, it’s been about to replace programmers for like 3 years, there’s a reason it still hasn’t

i had a dude in a different server ask what to do because he came at a point of needing other help. He has been developing a game for a year now. The sad part? It was all AI. He has no option anymore but needing someone elses help, he cannot continue further. At this point his only option is to learn lua himself while setting the game on break, but its over for him and he doesnt have much decisions left.

you really cant make a game with ai since some scripts have to "work together" and you cant do that if you keep on prompting "make a script that xyz"
