#How should i approach consistent body movers for my character

I know the title is kinda wack but I mean knock back for pvp games or combat moves like in strongest battlegrounds where I can push the character in the air and slam the character back down without it flinging or launching the character up then down in a arc or curve

To get to the point I’m not asking for a script or anything like that I just want to know how I can move my characters or objects in a controlled way

(I picked those tags because I couldn’t think any better ones sorry in advance if they’re wrong)

Ask me anything this whole paragraph probably makes no sense

you can also do velocities and assemblylinearforce or whatever its called on the humanoid

runservice is better but you're gonna have to do calculations
