Gate not becoming transparent

as the post says gate not becoming transparent after my avatar touches the button. i was following a brawldev beginner tutorial and at the end of it where he tests out the button i'm not getting the same result. idk if i'm misspelling something, values or events are off or anything like that but. it's really bothering me, i'll provide screenshots

like i said i've doublechecked this code for spelling mistakes or anything like that

same with gate, you never defined it before using
i assume you meant gates

You can enable output in window (top left) -> output/console i forgot what its called

just enabled output and it keeps saying that it have invalid arguments, imma fix the error now to see if anything changes

In the tutorial it also haves me put the script into like ServerScriptService could that effect anything too? Since I never even thought he’d the plugins/library before

I fixed the typo and it still didn’t work

I tried a couple fixes after reading the comments and it appears that the whole god damn script is outdated 😭(why the fuck does Roblox do this bruh?)

I blame this on light mode
