thats sick, how did you implement that? Did you follow a book or an article?
not really i never really think about it honestly i just have thought in mind that regular spot light or any light always have darker ceiling which doesn't make sense given how light behave irl so what i did was to use raycasting shooting it in sphere manner, also I did bit of research how to do bouncing ray which resulting in this
i just realized that what i did was doing "global illumination" which i never research of it before

you can do it yes 
use raycasting and if it's register hit start spawn a part that use hit color material
if it's hit purple then it turn purple light
