where do you fire the remote
inside a tool
this specifically
local remote = game.ReplicatedStorage.RemoteEvents.BeltEquipped
local beltName = tool:WaitForChild("BeltName")
tool.Activated:Connect(function()
remote:FireServer(beltName.Value)
end)```
add some print to make sure it fires
and lmk the result and ill help u more
Bro im sure it fires
because the parenting and cloning works
the only things not working is positioning and welding
For some reason it seems like to me that this script is fully written by ai
what exacly happends to position and welding
Bro nothing, like it wont position or weld
Also why don't you just put an accessory to the player instead of aligning it every time
because im making an RPG game with equippable belts
i dont want a simple accessory
Yuh you could remove them anytime
Wdym by "simple accessory"
basically when the remote is fired, it clones the part, parents it to the torso but it appears somewhere else and falls in the void (cuz i set anchor false and cancollide false) so that means weld doesnt work also
it does
i placed the weld inside the belt part, part0 to torso and part1 to the belt part itself
Maybe try creating weld first
Not sure
i think i know whats wrong. And it would be such a stupid reason
hold on let me try to do something
maybe anchor it or smth
broo the problem was that the belt part ITSELF was doing everything correctly, however i had a part inside (welded ofc) that was a bit too big so THAT wouldnt follow its parent
i am so stupid
i have experienced this error before
with race parts and stuff
anyway thanks guys i finally fixed it
try being nicer next time
bro thats not beeing mean
