Can someone please help me with a script?

I know this seems a bit stupid but I really need help with this.

I've tried using toolbox scripts, ChatGPT scripts but nothing works. I'm trying to recreate the game "Cheese Escape", but for a dog.

The dog keeps running into walls and is way too fast and janky. I've tried using nodes but it just breaks.

I uploaded my script. (I can actually script decently, I'm just not the best at AIs)

@sturdy crest so yeah if you have nodes and stuff placed down i would go with making a custom pathfinding system if you can

otherwise try learning about PathfindingService in depth so you can actually code the dog AI yourself without ChatGPT

sorry to keep bothering you, would you be able to quickly help me with a part of the script

i need a "safe zone" feature, so the npc wont track players inside the SafeZone part

and when no one is to be tracked, it returns to it's spawn area

as right now it just kind of camps outside the spawn zone, instantly killing players

i also can't find a way to reduce its speed

and ai just doesnt work
