why cant i move objects in animation mode?

sorry if its a dumb question, i was trying to move the pizza slice into elliot's hand but when i try to move it the move tool immediately dissapears again

also another question, why does undo not seem to work in the animation mode??

also sometimes middle mouse click randomly doesnt work either..

wait i just went back and my pose is gone what happened??

i keep trying to google things but only unrelated stuff keeps coming up

ik im supposed to anchor it but like normally the pose comes abck when you click back into animation but it didnt this time i dont understand why 😭

also for some reason shift x/c dont seem to work for toggling snapping, only holding shift

okay correction it does work but ONLY for move

im so confused as to whats going on

im just trying to grab the torso and rotate the character
