I'm making a dandy world type game and the tutorials aren't really explaining anything and making my head hurt

alright so what you wanna do is break down the game into smaller steps

for example if its a horror game, you might have steps like this:

1. player goes outside
2. fog comes down
3. monster come

and you can keep breaking it down until it becomes lines of code

make sure to be aware of any edge cases

and also dont follow tutorials for games

may use bad practices that can cause mem leaks and more

and doesnt help with learning any scripting anyway
