#Hamburger Helper (House almost burnt down) any advice from experienced chefs?

I have that type of stove at home and the heat is hard to work with
You just want to start low
Honestly never put it on high unless you're boiling a pot of water
With hamburger helper you just need to cook the meat and then add everything in, so I'd say stay on medium probably the whole time for that
Then lower slightly
When you add in the water n stuff
Make sure to set a timer so you can take it off the heat
Use best judgement on when to reduce the heat
Or increase
Don't increase unless it's been sitting for like a minute or two at least and the meat isn't even sizzling
Once you increase on that stove it takes a while for the temp to drop
Unless you got water in the pot since that boils at 212
THANK YOU!!!
My greedy ass would still eat that😭
