#Gui Scaling Devices
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
basically ui positioning and sizing is like this in properties,
Scale, Offset, Scale Offset
if you set the scale to 0.5 for the x and y then it will be half the screen size on both axises

oh wait your talking about on iphones the little thing
sorry im stupid :P
or atleast thats what i think your talking about.. uh. try turning off inset which i think you arleady did. if that doesnt work, for a pure black screen just scale it past 1
my transition breaks cuz it justs oversizes
its like a black square moving down
oh
try making the x size bigger if the phone is messing it up
iphone 14 does that
but if u make x size bigger it should fix
what about those devices with different y is that a concern too
i dont think any do
oh
i have a solution for you
if you want to completely get rid of the issue, place like a border aroud the screen
so like put 4 frames on each side to completely get rid of the space
-# or put one frame over the whole screen thats invisible with a uistroke on it
🤔 therse gonna be fov issues. ima js try increasing x value since y isnt a concern
ty for the input
alr!
i meant like put a border around the outskirts of the scree
so like normally it looks like this
but
like putting a black rectangle over the round parts right
?
so
you cant put ui in the corner
but if you have a ui that takes up the whole screen
then it fills up thecorners
idrk how to get around this
making x size bigger doesnt work
it still has the issue where it clips
idk if that will happen with my transition yet
ok
yeap it moves down then clips full screen for a second
😭 do I just hope no one on iphone 14 pro plays
are u iphone 14
yes 😔
workspace.CurrentCamera.ViewportSize does this work
like I request from client viewportsize
bro theres a settting for the screen gui called ignoreui something that turn it on and it will work
no
