i want to be able to shoot a gun when standing next to it but not holding it.

I added a remote event proximity under the fire function but no luck. anyone have any ideas?

i thought that might be the way to go. is there another suggestion? basically when im close to the gun i want to be able to press the shoot function without holding. I'm going to weld the gun to a car, im trying to shoot it while driving

im not, its not working, im able to weld the gun to the car but cant fire iit while driving. and no worries!! appreciate any advice

You can try just using a UserInputService
w/
Local Script -> Remote Event -> Server Script

although im not sure, since i dont know how your handling the function at all.

the function as of now doesnt exist. i just have the car and the gun
