How do i properly make the animation for my blaster work? Only half of it seems to be working and the right arm where the handle is just sticking straight out at 90 degrees

It looks like the lower hand doesn't have any keyframes, thus the underlying animation is not overwritten
In your hold animation, add keyframes for the lower arm and hand
