#Depth of Field effect

Hello, is there a way to somehow ignore a specific parts so that will not be processed by depth of field effect? I have a part on a players head that is slightly transparent, when I apply the effect it then either fully blurs the whole screen if the near intensity is high or does nothing when adjusting the focus distance.
