I'm working on a Roblox game where the lava rises during a round. Each map has a LimitLva part that should act as the maximum height for the lava. Right now, my script sometimes ignores this part or doesn’t handle it correctly, and the lava doesn’t stop at the right spot.

You can make a script that gets the LimitLva'sY value and put that value in Lava's max height script.
