i tried using textures a little and the uv maps and whatnot were not my thing lol

I do that all the time

haven't bothered to learn uv unwrapping so far

yes I bought the yearly release for 2025 back in April for $200

because I'm gonna use it commercially and I don't want legal trouble

I'm pretty sure blender has smart materials as well

but I think it's a pain in the ass to setup
