Need advice

hi my name's pablo i just started getting into scripting and ive watched a couple youtube beginner guides. Thing is i dont know how i can improve my skill from there as i know youtube videos alone wont help. I want to know from experienced scripters how they up'd their game when they started. Thank you for reading thus far and any advice will be appreciated 🙏

you honestly shouldn’t focus on making a large scale game when you just start lol when I started I just inserted a bunch of free model weapons and called it a game

so tbh just tinker around with free models you don’t need to read the code and stuff

What i did was making a game were i had to learn everything. Like animating, VFX, GUI, scripting. I choose for this because i like the varietie. And with that you learn also a lot of scripting, because you have to script everything to work

i've been scripting for three months now and still do not know everything. Just keep doing it and work on projects that you like. Not just to learn things but try to make soemthing that you think is cool. That gives you the motivation to keep pushing
