#How do I make my self made inventory system for fps game?

By that I mean I need your ideas to make practical ways that could fits these questions of mine:

  • Serversided & and clientsided switching (thats include switching on viewmodels, guns, data only for now)
  • By custom it only limit 9 slots. 1;2;3 are exclusive slots for weapons (and others is utility,..)

Im asking this because I've been itching on how should I make it efficient, less security risks, easy communication between client & server fundamentally with less workload on rescripting the structure of modules. Getting good ideas from you guys is what I needed to know.
