New to Roblox scripting

Hello 👋 I’m new to Roblox scripting and I need help starting. I am somewhat familiar with Roblox studio, but I’ve mostly been building and messing around with the lighting. I want to begin creating a game too and need this important skill so I can actually make a game. Please give me some personal tips/ YouTubers/ or forums thank you!

Do not get discouraged and learn ALL of the basics. Most importantly DataTypes, Tables (arrays and dicts), functions (how to create and use them, as well as creating and using arguments and parameters), return, loops (most importantly for loops), and roblox api and services

Another important thing is learning Roblox's client and server model

And then

Pratice with what u learned

Doing small projects

Hiatus could be good to teach you basics in scripting in youtube
