morphing without making player respawn

does anyone know how to allow the player to morph without having to destroy the player? i tried finding tutorials on the aforementioned but none of them helped or are focused on guis. If it means anything, i'm using a clickable part to morph the player

morphing is done by changing the players character to a different model

Player.Character = NewCharacter
