anyone know a way to host a server on my computer or a free webhosting service

all the ones i found need like a credit card or its a free trial or its a static server

Can you use HttpService to store player data? like lets say roblox cant handle too much data due to their servers being shit could i store it on one of these - i'd like to know for future reference when my game becomes too big for roblox to handle and i need to outsource the data stores elsewhere? 😂 bcz ofc

yes you can and front page games already do it

an example is pet simulator

They have their own external database and they communicate with it via http requests
