#broken door (again)
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
No bot could help this, the problem is
the doors are acting like a servo on target angle 0
no matter how it rotates, it will always play the tween as it was the same rotation
or basically the servo goes back to 0 target angle, and collides with the train
so when you turn in a curve, the more you turn, the more the doors collide
Are you using
A simple train model that rotates as one piece, or
Individual train cars connected by constraints/joints?
yeah
this is a car
as one piece
the door models are also welded
for debugging, i removed the second car and left it unattached
should i tell u ans from ai and try that?
wdym
claude is better
oh
also i dont need a non scripter,
just trying to help lel... hope u find your answer
stop using ai and rotate a hinge thats welded to a unanchored door with tweenservice
make the new cframe CFrame.Angles(0, math.rad(90), 0)
and ajust the "90" by how much you want the door to open
ITS NOT UNANCHORED
I aint reading ai generated code
ITS NOT ASS UNANCHORED
bro thats not what im saying
oh like sliding flush door?
never saw a normal door swing in a turbostar 170
bro idk shit about busses, but that just makes it easier
"easier" thats just saying; remove all mechanics of a game to make it easier
for you to code
plus i made a plug door, but copying that contraption to this crowded train?, not possible
everyone has atleast used ai for coding atleast once
yeah, but you dont learn if u ctrl c and ctrl v and its hard to make changes to the code since you dont know how its structured and made
ik how lua works
you thinking i just ctrl c ctrl v
i see result and check the code
and you wont believe it that i: learned luau from copy pasting code and reading it
maybe thats why ur still copy pasting
you're*
and nobody even cares something is ai generated at this point
if it works it works
its not going to change the game at anyway, giving your script to an ai is just the same thing as refining it
