Ingame Abilty Problem Stuff or Something

So im making a Slap Battles type inspired game, And i had a friend that scripted for my game, And now hes gone and im trying to Script myself, Im trying to figure out how the abiltys and stuff work, I would love a way to fix it, Mainly because this games an Passion Project and really am hoping it can be done, I am just asking how it could work, Not exactly people writing scripts for me, Im trying to follow Post Guidelines here.
