@thorn spire yeah scripting a whole rpg following youtube tutorials is not gonna work
id recommend just finding a team already working on an rpg
thing is ion got the funds for that
i mean like joining one
maybe ig
can i see the map
** You are now Level 2! **
i jus like building huge stuff...
yeah looks cool
i want it to be mainly exploration based
but i still want just some sort of combat
i dont think id even add like several weapons or anything youd prolly just start with one sword and keep it the whole time
enemies can be created with the use of Pathfindingservice;
you can check for certain player distance by calculating the magnitude (or distance) between a player and enemy
damage can be done with a simple .touched event
tutorials are often outdated and sometimes messy, id recommend starting fresh and coming up with custom features
do i just watch like a 70 hour playlist on everything scripting related at this point
oh? so you arent a scripter? no offense but then that'd mean the tutorials would be useless aswell
yeah im not a scripter at all
ive managed to add a main menu to this and some npc dialogue but
thats basically it
you could obviously hire scripters from #💵︱hiring but relying on tutorials is dumb and not worth it
if i could i would but ion got the funds
you could attempt to hire people for future %'s of the game
though unlikely im sure youll find someone
granted they may not be experienced or professional but its a start.
or you could try learning scripting; luau in general is quite simple & when we account roblox's built-in services im sure you could learn decent scripting in under a month
gotta find a scripter who accepting 2 robux payments👀
that could work too
TL:DR
tutorials are unreliable, ad-focused garbage.
hiring people for scripting is usually preferred.
swag money
make the entire game for me 🙏
ok
do you have a portfolio of prior works? if you do provide quality 2 robux is a steal!
i can show you a game ive made
theres no need, i was just making a statement.
you should show OP though!
