My gf is working on making a game for outfits shes made and has been having me help her with scripts. I guess she added a model that had some malicious scripts in it because everytime we go into testing, gamepasses constantly pop up. I have found the IDs for some of the gamepasses, but when I search them in scripts 0 results show.

Heres one of the links for the gamepasses as shown in the developer console:

#

its either a NumberValue, a StringValue, etc.

gentle junco
#

oh right, so script?

fierce nebula
#

yes if none showed up then try local script:

edgy skiff
#

no, since its NOT inside a script

#

it can be an Instance.

edgy skiff
#

Meaning that its not inside any types of scripts.

#

So a possibility its an instance.

#

not a Line

gentle junco

edgy skiff
#

theres alot of ways for finding viruses.
if none worked then:
try and selecting all workspace and press ctrl + x (which cuts, do not copy or simply delete everything assuming you backed it up) then simply test play and see if the prompt purchase still occur. if not then the virus is within the workspace

or save it on another game then do some testing

fierce nebula
#

back up the game first then delete all startergui and see if issue persists. once u find where the virus is coming from simply debug each item and then assuming you backed up the place. go back to the backed up place and delete the supposedly virus that you found/located

#

and update

Looks like it was hidden in the workplace, because i cut everything and its not popping up

she had an underwater area, and it was attached to a coral object she put in there

#

im guessing this was the culprit

gentle junco
# crimson sierra where was it

the script doesnt look like it could have anything sneaky in it so i deleted just the script and im gonna see if it was that or the part value, just out of curiosity cuz of how much of a pain this was

crimson sierra
