I applied this old roblox chat script, but when I type a message, the message that appears in the bubble and on the side is empty. Anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

its probably outdated and it uses the old legacy chat system which is disabled now

I don't think that's the issue
I used a different legacy chat and it worked fine
It had a little warning symbol that said legacychat is outdated, but still worked
