(BTW IM NEW HERE) So, Ive been trying to make a classic pirate-themed roblox game lately. But i have a problem and i need help, the problem is that i want to make a part with the classic studs on top actually swimmable in r6 without using the water roblox already has in the terrain editor. For example take the water from "High tides" A game that my game is inspired from! Thank you for your time reading this and any help will be appreciated 😄 (also idk what tags to equip but okay)

make the water non-collidable but touchable and when a player is in contact with the water, make his character follow the camera when he move forward (kind of re-create the swimming system of roblox)
if you don't want them to go below water level keep the normal movement system but change animations
you can use :GetTouchingsParts on the water to get parts in contact, like a player RootPart to know when they are in the water
You will still see the new water tho..
I havnt done this personally but you can override the terrain editor textures with your own, I imagine you can override the water texture to make it invisible
I want to know, how would you have it register touches without it falling through the map since setting CFrame or Anchored affects touches. I feel like it’s easy but whatever.
