#What are the main functions in scripting and how do I use them?

I'm having trouble finding out how to use functions like Local script, true, false, etc. I feel like I shouldn't be copying tutorials all the time and that I should actually learn how to script since it's way better than copying tutorials.

For example: I wanted to make an idle animation for a character that players would see once they join the game, but I don't know what functions to use to make it work. I also followed a tutorial on how to make it play, but that didn't work either.

If you dont know how to script you should start small. Try to understand functions, play with them. If there are errors you can ask in #📜︱scripting or here. Animations are quite difficult for beginners so i would recommend learning the scripting basics first
