#How can I reliably detect ButtonA and Button Start?

I looked at your code and it looks like it should work to me. What was happening when you tested it?
Button A gets registered as it being a jump, but for some reason it won't detect that it's Button A
Tried with Gamepad1 stuff, and same thing happened
oh. Maybe try seeing if gpe == true and its returning early?
