#Problem with keeping the corpses of dead npcs
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
based off thus script i see that ur not parenting the robot to workspace
thats issue one
and findfirstchild = doesnt exist
Oh my goodness please start with the basics
This was the original script, is there a way to make it so that the corpse doesn't despawn and respawn until it is fully deleted
Bro without context no one can help you, no one knkws whats script.Parent.Parent is
and remove isnt a thing
and parent the robot to workspace
so basically im trying to make it so that when an npc is downed, they dont immediately despawn. and they only respawn when they are entirely destroyed. Like if they fell out of the map, they would respawn, however if they died without losing all their parts, they would stay dead.
Ok I finally got the script to function in it's normal state. However there still is the issue of the npc not staying dead. is there a way I can change the code to make the npc only respawn when it its entirely deleted
it is
Wth that is my avatar
What
well mb i usually do destroy
you should probably just used the Died event on the Humanoiod instead of those odd checks youre doing
its ok its bad to use anyways
Well I'm trying to make it so that they don't despawn when they die by losing health, only when all the parts of the humanoid are gone
** You are now Level 1! **
So basically like a lingering corpse until you get ride of it by entirely destroying the entity
i can tell that
honestly you could probably just disable the state
Will it make him able to respawn when completely destroyed?
dawg what do you want
