#HOW TO CLIMB TRUSS PART WITH COLLISION FALSE
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
not climbable in the traditional sense of the word
I believe the character requires the part to be collision to climb
You can utilize raycasts to create a scaling system (not scalars, but like scaling a wall etc.)
You can float with bodymovers
Why would you want this?
** You are now Level 9! **
What do you need this for
what
to climb any part
** You are now Level 5! **
like as if it was a truss part
put an invisible truss on it, code it yourself, or try to find source code or something
Make a ladder and set transparency to 1
ladder?
you mean just regular parts stacked on top of each other with a gap in between?
** You are now Level 6! **
Yes
is it really optimized tho?
I mean if you are not going to script something, I guess so.
is there a way to automate this for every part with a tag?
What you need is invisible trusses, not collision off.
is there a way to scale truss part below (1,1,1) without making it loose it's functionality?
i think it's (2,2,2) minimum actually.
Just make the truss mostly inside the part youre climbing.
it needs to be from all direction..
Then put multiple around?
i mean the rope is thin and it needs to be climbable but truss part won't get smaller
why didnt usay that
