Need help with inventory and equip system

So Im making a game and it's called Elementary Battlegrounds

It's about people fighting with elementary powers and each has 5 skills

And they have to obtain one of them and all has its own quests to get it

I'm currently testing the elementary power orbs and it seems that it triggers but doesn't equip

I'm trying to make inventory system and equip system can anyone help?
