roblox scripting school
Nothing worked? None of your scripting worked at all? Try to make something work, that's where I'd start
?
i tried to learn how to script
i couldnt understand anything
and i wanna learn how to script
Yeah just start small
i will do that
but tutorials give me tumors
and idk how to learn scripting
is there anyone/anything i can go to to learn scripting efficiently
People won't really teach you so you gotta learn from trying and asking specific questions and stuff
But there's some scripting games on roblox you can try, for example "lua learning" and that other one the person mentioned above whatever it is
But you'll definitely need some aspect of self teaching

how do i find motivation
I don't have a good answer for that sorry 😕 I still struggle with motivation myself.
But what keeps me returning even though it's difficult is that I love games and that's what I want to do/create instead of working a typical 9-5.
I started a few months ago and then dropped it for another few months. Came back again to try more. But I'm learning more things every time I reapproach it. I think determination in the long term/ end goal is really important. But be sure to take breaks whenever it's too stressful. It will take time.
Back when I started, I wanted to make an overhead-camera game. And I literally could not figure it out so I just gave up on it for a good while. But then recently I dunno it just, clicked. I remembered which ways didn't work so I tried a new way and that worked. Same thing with remote events, couldn't get that at all but now it's not that bad. You will have to start small and be alright with not knowing lots of stuff.
As for getting started fresh, I actually recommend to just mess around in roblox studio. Just do whatever you want. Make parts, load in toolbox stuff, just anything. That's really the first step.
Sorry for the wall of text
