Pretty much, yeah. Look for tutorials on how to make a specific type of game, and just follow along. While the guy explains every step of the way, you'll slowly start to understand.

get an idea (something small) like making a gun, car, etc. and watch a youtube tutorial or read devforum posts on how to do so

sure, I'd say that's a bit difficult for a beginner but even if you don't finish it you can learn a lot of stuff

yea im not an actual beginner but im not even that good at scripting, i ve always asked help for chat gpt so i know the basics and how to do some things thanks to it. The only problem is that i’ve started to notice that im not learning that much so i want to make something all by myself
