@polar hemlock
ive already tried this (and many other tutorials) but i still just couldnt get it to work somehow
what is your issue?
so i tried scripting my own (which clearly didnt work)
the handle wouldnt be animated
(the sword)
do you have moon animator
alright, so
yes it would
first of all
you need to get the handle, and weld it to every single part inside of the tool
with the easyweld thing
make sure that the mesh is INSIDE of the handle
it is
the handle IS the mesh
:p
you need
a completely seperate part for htat
let me load up my sword mesh real fast
so you name the part where you want the player to grip the sword
** You are now Level 2! **
oh ok
lemme try that rq
then you would put these two together using easyweld, always putting handle as base part, make sure animatable is selected off, and click join in place
alr
now you would load in your rig
go down into the humanoid root part, open easyweld back up
make sure the handle is INSIDE of the R6 model
(as shown like this)
make sure animatable is on, and then press join
your model should now be teleported straight in the middle of your model
now everything should be ready for you to animate, for the scripting portion i reccomend you follow the video i sent you
so uhh ive been stuck on this part for a bit so im not sure if im doing it right
the gray part is the handle
then make the part so its animated on the hand
i did
