soo I just started reading books this year, and I have read 4 books in total, and I spend a 2 week timespan between each book, soo I can say I spend around 2 to 1 month reading a book, so around 12-16 books per year. My favorite one is "Harsh times" from Mario Vargas Llosa. Pretty good, would read again.
my second place would be "Don't Weep More, My Lady" by Mary Higgings Clark, a thing that threw me off was what happened at the last page, it was like ??????????'
then it would be 20 thousand leagues under the sea, haven't finished it but I think it goes onto something, it really leaves place for my imagination
then "Silas Marner" by George Elliot (cof cof Mary Anne Evans) , all of these books are good but this one is pretty slow, and has some pretty complicated language, but then get me wrong, it's really good, and the story is really emotional
