#How do I get started?

I've had solid luck with BrawlDev
Theres a bunch of them that explain the same thing, a tip of advice, the hardest part about scripting isnt the language, but the shitty engine
And you cant really learn everything about the engine through tutorials alone, you kinda have to suffer through it and spend hours with it
The documentation could absolutely better, but with do you say it's a shitty engine? I'm not looking to disagree, just hear your thoughts.
The engine is older than me, it hasnt rly changed that much compared to unity and other engines, there are stuff that are hard coded that dont make sense at all
And the engine performs poorly on some of their own objects
Also the physics are wack
Isn't that the case for every engine though? They all have their issues and legacy, I mean look at Bethesda's creation engine.
Maybe so, im just saying this to u rn so that u can know that ur not the only one facing problems with this old ass engine
Just keep at it even tho ur prolly honna lose alot of braincells
U might make a good game
Oh absolutely, I just think it's more of a common occurrence
Alr ty for the advice everyone!
If its just working around an outdated system i can definitely do it
i agree with this one.
but basically dont just do tutorials, apply what you have learn from tutorials.
