While learning how to make a movement system, most videos, and forums used BodyVelocity, so I did too, but when trying to add my own touches, and make the script better to learn more, I saw that BodyVelocity was depreciated, and replaced it with LinearVelocity, as better scripters said it was superior. Now whenever I jump and dash it flings me, which it did not do previously with BodyVelocity. Should I go back to BodyVelocity, or is there a solution?

I'm not a legendary dev but I think it kinda looks like your body is colliding with the ground
it only does it when i jump, it works fine otherwise
its up to you if you want to use body velocity or linear velocity. deprecated means that it will not receive maintenance
