#Datastore timer Problem
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Whats the problem?
The Problem is that when NO item is active, two new buffvalues ( in this case "applebuff" values ) get created and they are identical and the stack by reusing the item is working without a problem, but when i rejoin and the datastore sets in with the leftover time i cannot add anymore minutes and there is only one buffvalue. The Time just sets back after rejoin when i add a few seconds. For example:
After rejoin:
30s left -- i add 20s -- it shows 50s for a second -- sets back to 29s
Well if its over after a second.. why not just wait 1 second
I don't think you understand what i mean.
When you watch the Video, you can see in the left-down corner the timer for the buff and there i can add with re-usage of the item time to this buff and in the explorer and the properties on the side you can see the attributes change and everything.
I added a datastore to save leftover time that the used item don't get wasted BUT when i rejoin i cannot add any time to the leftover time and the item just get lost on use
And this is what i mean with "setback" because after the rejoin the datastore makes it so that ONLY the leftover time ticks down and resets the added time always to the actual leftover time so that the item get wasted
Oh DataStore... For myself i hat doing DataStore haha
