I like the idea a lot, I think there would be a lot of backend development for a bot like that, but you could set it up in a way where it's only visible to people with the coresponding skill role. So if it's a Scripter post, only people with scripter role could see it, and then only people with the role level could give vouches.

so that builders are only seeing builder posts

if the user dont have a good rep or people hate them for whatever reason, what makes you think they will get voted

because there are cases where youd need to reply to people

especially in scripter ranking tickets

my s3 ticket went on for 1000+ messages of back and forth (not just because im a sore looser, but because a conclusion was still being discussed)

this would be very tedious to be anonymous

and by that point if they are truly bias against you they wouldve picked up who it is

its not a foolproof solution but its much better than the previous proposal imo, even if you "picked up" not having their name and everything in front of you will still reduce bias. doubt is good

I don't quite agree, the bot could create a thread and a private channel for the thread owner. The bot could relay messages between channels with a layer of anonymity.

I'd say the one flaw is the anonymous person accidentally or intentionally leaking their identity.

btw i looked at most public scripter tickets and most conversations are just the guy submitting them being annoyed that they got rejected

Only exception is building tickets if people want any specific screenshots of a certain build, which can easily be solved by requiring builders to properly screenshot their works if they want to be up for ranking

so i dont see why the whole system will change over 2 possible ranks out of like idk 32ish

in a class i'm taking part of the course is grading essays so you know how to write them or whatever, think a practice excercise or whatever. So when we grade, everyone grades a couple essays INDIVIDUALLY to prevent bias, then everyone shares their scores and they fix up any discrepencies in scoring and agree to a final score
