#How to script in idle animation
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
where is that
so put a script in the character
Yuh
And have that script be all
"script.animation:play"
And then the animation will be all like "ok" and play
ok i have the script in startercharcter
Cool
No
Local script is not ok
Why would a local script be ok in this situation?
How would that possibly work?
isn't local script used for animation
mb then
Or else nobody else can see it-
Wait
is the animation in A PLAYER?!
If so then uh, waaayyy more complicated
Far beyond my experience
it's just an idle animation for the player
kinda like the ones you see in the games
use a local script in the character
Uh, have the script just play the animation, and then have another script where every input disables the script that plays the animation for like 1 minute
So after a minute the script will enable
And the idle animation will play
I think?
huh
put a local script in the character starterscripts
to play an animation
it will show to everyone
dafrog is confusing it with other things
do i use user input
no you dont need to
ok so delete my first line
yep
imma work on it
you just need to declare the animation as a variable and play it
but im just gonna get the information i need
oh
so normal animation keybind just take out the step
so just
blah blah =
instance.new
animation
right
do i make a instance
ok
In this video, I teach you how to override the default animations in Roblox Studio (idle, walk, running). I also give you a brief introduction to the Roblox animation editor.
