#"Pet" not attacking "Drop"

i can send my script for my pet that makes it follow me around and go to the drop rq
this is for the position of the "Pet"
this is the one that makes it go to the drop once its clicked on
it has a different use too but it doesn't connect to the drop and pet
roblox doesn't need more pet simulators, but tbh just take some very basic beginner debugging steps and you should be fine
im gonna be real bro you are very negative on here you cringe me out a bit
just help the fella or dont respond at all
do any of the value objects actually change when you click on a drop?
there's a reason i dont respond to most questions these days ;o
there's a lot of beginners on here, it's just the way it is
i feel like you discourage people a lot or make them feel a bit stupid unnecessarily
scripting is cool and fun and people should enjoy learning it though i do get it's annoying when people don't give proper context or ask questions easily answered by google
i encourage self directed learning instead of reliance on excessively asking for help, kinda hard to do that when you don't know if the person is asking for help with someone else's code, or got it from ai or a tutorial (it comes up more often than not). I can't really do much about most code problems being something stupid most of the time, it's just the way it is.
perhaps its your tone bro
like this problem for example, we agree on some beginner debugging steps being the approach here, add prints, check values, make sure everything in the right place, etc, maybe they are proper working on it and just aren't aware that this is what debugging is and how important it can be
you can come across a bit patronising especially when you dont DIRECT people where to go
yeah exactly
so 'follow basic debugging steps' isnt all that helpful
i used to give docs links all the time but i stopped when i figured people need to look that stuff up for themselves so they get in the habit of doing it
that's up to the other person to say they don't understand what that is or how to do it (that comes up a lot too)
that's why i intentionally left it vague, i don't know what their skill level is. they may have written all of this themselves, it may be ai code, it could be from a tutorial, you can't know, and i've see both sides of that plenty, so i just leave it open for the person to say 🤷.
Yes
Idk how to check that
