Looks like your close button is located under a gui called settings, but you are referencing it under screenGui in your script

also there is some weird stuff going on with the way you are defining the close button, once you have the frame as a variable all you need is something like

local closeButton = frame:WaitForChild("Close")

no need for the additonal line of code where youa re defining it
