#How do you tween welded parts?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Edit (06/30/2021): Due to the release of the new pivot APIs and the thankful deprecation of SetPrimaryPartCFrame, the legacy method of CFraming is now also appropriate and you do not necessarily need to use this welding method. Do note that the pivot CFrame is different from the PrimaryPart CFrame though, so you will have to account for that whe...
this post helped me a lot
might be what youre looking for
you can't tween welded parts
** You are now Level 3! **
yes you can..
that post tells you exactly how
Thank you for the resource I will actually read it
I have a moving vehicle and I want to tween like a lever you can pull like in the video. The red part would be welded to the primarypart of the vehicle model . I don't know how
@drifting zodiac
temporarily removing the weld, tweening the part, then reattaching the weld afterward is a crazy workaround
especially because the lever starts and stops the vehicle
??? nowhere does it say temporarily remove the weld
you just make a rootpart for the model, weld everything to it, then tween that rootpart
Lol im forced to use motor6d and ive made that in a single animation, you don't even know how it tweening and welds works you can't tween a part that is welded to a moving vehicle
Unless I recreate the weld
It will never work
then your setup is the issue or some other factor, it is possible to tween it
This is what happens
Fyi I didn't recreate the welds in there
Yes it would be possible if I did
Its a crazy workaround
if it works it works
