I'm trying to make a mm2 knife throwing system but the ray cast result won't work when I hit the air
is their a way to fix it or a different way to calculate it?

I think it must be because the distance is kinda infinite

And depending on the amount of time you’ve multiplied you vector unit for your raycast direction, you have a "limit"

Maybe it might work if you have a roof

Otherwise i dont think it’s possible since it will return nil

if its nil then just remove it after letting it fly after a while

I think be wants the knife to be thrown anyways

Maybe he should add some invisible roof i guess ?

And then use debris to delete the knife a certain time after being thrown
