see what you have in ur surrounding and use it for defense, barricades, or any sort of weapons

- due to the nervous system dying zombies are TECHNICALLY pain-proof, therefore ur just giving them heat, basically burning them alive within 2 - 3 hours
thats why their will to eat humans is really high
what i would do is:
gain tools from a tool-shed, and utilery-tools like a butchers knife from the kitchen, things like a hammer, screwdriver, batteries, screws, and possibly a nailgun,
bring wash-cloths ( can be used to get stains out of clothing when dipped in nearby rivers )
use the basement as " Storage " or " base " as zombies are unintelligent and struggle opening doors, a lockign mechanism could be made if u take it off things like the bathroom door, or a car-door lock,
use the fridge door as a extra absement door protection.
laptop + battery powered power-pack ( or create ur own using those circuit-starter kit tools ppl used in their childhood,

most basements have canned-food ( europian basements ) are mostly filled with canned-goods that dont require a stove or any heat, like canned-fruit etc
