im following in biskits footsteps because im using his watermark method

If it’s blender use auto smooth to clean up then visible quads

here's the problem
i've tried triangulate modifier
no difference
Not shade smooth shade auto smooth
The reflection, there is no shadow, looks like shadow map which we use in roblox studio

If you look at the reflection, the thing is glowing more
ive changed it from 0 to 180
Try giving it a subdivision modifier and switch it to simple
The lightings and rendering doesn’t look like blender standards……
That’s how reflection on a shiny white surface looks
WAIT keeping at catmull clark makes it look a bit better
the spikes are no longer more bulky

I the topo may be messed up and that’s why it’s acting like that
Did you use Boolean?
He has a white surface with bright lighting with a white area like the background that’s caused the reflection to be lighter
Ehhh not sure really something could be up with the topo then cause auto smooth shouldn’t do that
