So a rip off dungeon quest

There a reason every single move is a copy of dungeon quest, and the dungeons are also a copy themselves?
Dungeon Quest isn't first dungeon game in the world, did you know that Dungeon Quest took inspiration from other dungeon games outside Roblox?
You didn’t take inspiration, you stole every aspect of the game
The fact ur trying to defend yourself without even questioning me saying the game is a rip off proves u knew it was

The only thing I can think of that's similar is the loading screen
its made well in my opinion its just the concept
Let’s see. The premise of the game, the level and health bar above the head looks exactly the same, the idle weapon holding, the play screen with the two game modes, the winter map being first just like in dq, the layout of the npcs and the tree blocking you from going forward, the fireball which is the same thing as the dq fireball with a different texture
Just to clarify, in Dungeon Quest, the first map is actually a desert map, not a forest map. Also, the health bar in my game is completely different from Dungeon Quest. However, I do admit that I took inspiration from Dungeon Quest for the fireball. Also wtf are u on about? Dungeon Quest doesn't even feature a forest map? ALSO, the idle weapon holding is completely different. Have you even played dungeon quest?
Also the snow map is COMPLETELY different

no problem man, either way it took a lot of work but probably change it up a bit
since your using a medieval theme maybe go for a more medieval theme involving ui and maps
Maybe one day, you'll realize that feedback and positive support can go a long way in making developers create great games, or improve them.
Well I kinda tried going for that but Im not really a builder or a UI artist, Im just a solo dev
im not a ui designer either but sites like kenny.nl have packs that you can use to learn from
i think theres a fantasy one or similar on there

What suggestions? You are only criticizing me? According to your reasoning, any game set in a dungeon must automatically be considered a copy of Dungeon Quest. Makes perfect sense!
ur game has zero players and ur not taking criticism. make the game unique, it sucks
I haven't even begun advertising the game yet, so it's no surprise that it currently has zero players. If you want to see improvements, try offering suggestions instead of simply declaring that it "sucks."
It seems you want to repeatedly raise the same point without looking at the explanations I offered. Your choice to hold onto your perspective without seeing the new information I provided is just annoying.
hate to say it . but this is legit dungeon quest knockoff. You didnt even really try to be orginal.
You still have the only Q and E attack slots, the generic sell and buy areas and more.
Just try and make it unique
Maybe adding more than 2 attack slots, classes for things like mages, swordsmen, magic swordsman etc. Just be different

I like the theme, it defo seems less broody and more cartoonish, but it needs to be way more uniqueness

You said dungeon games “take similarities” from each other. You basically copied the inventory system, combat system, and movement system of dungeon quest, and when I said to make the game unique u said that I was only there to criticize you.
Also claiming that I copied the entire inventory, combat, and movement systems from Dungeon Quest is exaggerated. My inventory system uses a completely different UI and also uses a unique features such as kit selection and easy equipment management. Also for the movement system, it is significantly different from Dungeon Quest, with special moves like flipping the character and three different attacks
Dungeon quest has just a simple left swing and right swing
The combat system I've implemented in my game is a common feature found in many dungeon games.
I would add a Dash skill and more.
Not gonna say much else tho, since I do plan to make my own dungeon game in the future

the more you add, the more variaty and things you can dio
Make each class dependent on not just 1 stat, but multuple

Intelligence is for magic power
in most games
concentration would be for bows or something
or skills that requitre it, like smithing , enchanting etc
just expand the complexity

Then you can have skills for each

You could also just make unique armor sets.
You dont have to have the same theme for multiple classes
Sort of like Elden Ring if youve played it

Essentially theres just all unique armor sets.
There isnt a same peice of equipment for the other classes

And they all help in other classes, but lets say a mage robe for example, its obv gonna do way more damage in magic than in physical combat
