well, I did compare its performance against regular-old remote events and found that the networking utility is actually slightly faster

i performed 100 trials where a script and localscript would communicate with each other to increment a number to 100, and i did this for both the script networking utility and a regular remote event

the remote event was only slightly faster in one trial

at best the networking utility was 3.4x faster
