#How would I weld parts (armor) to a players body parts when a tool is equipped?

I'm creating a game and I have a tool that launches a player forward
using rocket boots but I don't know how to get the shoes on the players legs
but only when they have the tool equipped. Anything helps because all the tutorial online are from 2019 and older.

Oh yeah and also have then dissapear when the tool is unequipped

honestly just put the armor on the player if they have the tool in the hotbar, equipped or not
