if you set glass transparency to 0.999 then a parts transparency to 0.001 it will appear invisible when the glass is over it. Clone the character, scale it by 1.02x and weld each clone part to corresponding limbs with transparency 0.001, then just tween two glass parts apart from the center to give off the effect
